The Endless Appeal Of Puzzle Games
One of the foremost contributions in the success of the puzzle games all over the globe has been by the game download sites on the Internet. Sites that allow you to download games wouldn't work at all if there were no puzzle games on them. Let us try to know this. They do not have extremely high-end graphics (some of them may have, but they are exceptions to the rule, not the rule itself). Due to their simplistic designing, they carry less MBs. Less MBs means better download speeds. Better download speeds means lower failure levels of the buyers. This puts the all perspective into place. The beginning draw for this games is definitely the fact that the file sizes are small and the downloads are too simple.
But then there is other thing. A very important factor, in fact! puzzle games are extremely addictive. They may seem simple, but they are so very riveting. How many times, when playing these games have you become angry because you could not put a block into site, or could not shoot a bubble pattern with the same color, or could not get up on a ledge because you weren't able to solve a problem? Many times, no doubt! But have you given up? Never, I am sure! That's what.
Even if game download sites offer sixty-minute demos of their games, they are almost sure that you will return back as an efficient customer too. So, they become a good bet for the game download sites.
The genre could be larger than the other genres too, but most online game sites vouches for the fact that their puzzle games do much better than their action or adventure games. And that's a fact for all game download sites all over the globe.
Simplicity, availability and extreme playability, these are three main reasons for the success of puzzle games in the world today. They have captivated generations of gamers, and there's certainly no indication of them fizzling out in the future.

I Love French Wine and Food - A Red Cotes du Rhone
Among France's eleven wine-growing regions the Rhone Valley ranks second in acreage. This region stretches about 125 miles (200 kilometers) along the Rhone River. This region is really two separate areas, the north and the south whose wines differ a lot. The northern Rhone Valley is quite narrow. The major red grape variety is Syrah, while the major white variety is Viognier. The southern Rhone Valley produces about 95% of the Rhone Valley wines. This region strongly believes in blending grapes in their wines. For example the famous Châteauneuf-Du-Pape AOC wine may be made from up to thirteen different grape varieties. The better wines are clearly defined as coming from the northern or the southern part of the Rhone valley. Subsequent articles will review several of these wines.
Historians believe that Avignon was originally settled by the Celts. It was a flourishing city in the time of the Ancient Romans. But it is best known as the home of seven popes between 1309 and 1377. Who would have thought that when Pope Clement V chose this southern French city for the site of his Papacy, it was ruled by the King of Sicily, albeit through the house of Anjou, in the opposite corner of France? Avignon and the surrounding area remained more or less papal property until the French Revolution. The major tourist site is the Palais des Papes (Papal Palace), which unfortunately is missing many of its original furnishings. But there is a lot more to see including several churches and museums, the beautiful hilltop garden Rocher des Doms (Rock of the Domes), the opera house, the Clocktower Square, and of course the Pont-St.-Benezet (St.-Benezet Bridge) made famous by a children's song Sur le pont d'Avignon (On the Avignon bridge). Parts of this bridge are said to date back to the Twelfth Century. And you're only a little more than ten miles (less than twenty kilometers) from the village of Châteauneuf-Du-Pape.
Before reviewing the Cotes du Rhone wine and imported cheeses that we were lucky enough to purchase at a local wine store and a local Italian food store, here are a few suggestions of what to eat with indigenous wines when touring this beautiful region. Start with Fois Gras de Canard (Duck Liver Pate). For your second course savor Caillette (Pork-Liver Meat Loaf). And as dessert indulge yourself with Sorbet (Sherbert) and fresh fruit.
OUR WINE REVIEW POLICY All wines that we taste and review are purchased at the full retail price.
Wine Reviewed Reserve Perrin Cotes du Rhone P2004 13% about $12
Let's start by quoting the marketing materials. Roaming Rhone. This wine will transport you to the South of France. Five generations of Perrin winemaking culminate here as you breathe in aromas of candied cherries, plum, spice, and earthy tones. There's volumes of juicy cherry flavors surrounded by good ripe tannins on the medium-bodied palate. Gourmets can savor it with chicken or lamb tajine.
Most of the wines that we have reviewed are made from a single grape variety. This wine, like most of the wines in the southern Rhone Valley, is a blend, in this case 60% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre, and 10% Cinsault.
My first meal consisted of rib steak and fried potatoes. The steak was marinated in a homemade ketchup and horseradish mustard sauce. By accident too much mustard fell into the sauce, but I didn't want to throw it out and start over again. No problem, this wine rose to the challenge easily and wasn't in the least overwhelmed by all that horseradish. I still tasted dark fruits and spices.
My next meal involved slow cooked ribs and potatoes. The wine was very round and full. While it wasn't complex it was quite pleasant. In addition to the above components I tasted a bit of tar. When the food was gone the wine tasted peppery. I liked it.
Once again I went to beef, this time a slow cooked beef stew. The wine was a bit chewy. It was powerful and mouth-filling.
The first cheese was a French Saint-Aubin, a soft cow's milk cheese traditionally packed in a wooden box. This cheese has a creamy brie-like texture and a stronger taste. Unlike many other wines, this Cotes du Rhone retained its fruit when paired with the Saint-Aubin.
I next tried the wine with an Italian Bel Paese, a mild buttery cheese suggested to accompany fruity wines or to be eaten alone as a snack or a dessert. This combination was even better; the wine became rounder. Only a few precious sips remained in the bottle. Instead of slicing off a bit more cheese, I tried it with a slice of mint chocolate cake. Unfortunately the combination was no success, the cake denatured the wine a bit. But, as you may know, I do not blame a wine for my unusual unorthodox food pairing attempts that come up short.
Final verdict. I found this wine to be a real winner, especially in light of its moderate price. I'll be buying it again, but not before tasting several other wines from both the north and the south of the Rhone Valley.

Summer Ideas with Wine
The first thing that comes to mind when talking about wines to drink in the summer is Sauvignon Blanc. This crisp, dry wine is perfect for summer drinking, just make sure you chill it well to get the optimum out of it. When looking for a Sauvignon Blanc, look for one that comes from New Zealand, as this white wine offers something a little more special. These wines are the best types of wine created from this grape, and the most applauded ones are the ones from the Cloudy Bay or Marlborough areas of New Zealand.
But what if you're not too keen on dry white wine?
There are some really good German sweet white wines which, when chilled, are refreshing and add something completely different to the norm.
Also, a Portuguese friend of mine keeps her red wine in the fridge too. She doesn't like white wine, and swears by a chilled red wine instead, which is great in the Algarve, where the temperatures get quite high.
For those of us not quite ready to chill our red wine, there is a middle ground. There are some spectacular ros

Put That Steak Knife to Work on a Mouth Watering Rib Eye Steak - Rosemary and Basil Recipe
You do not want to have to sharpen your steak knife after cutting your steak. So, you will want to make sure that your rib eye steaks are at room temperature before throwing them on the grill. The reason for this is that a cold or partially frozen steak will be a bit tough in cooked on the grill before reaching room temperature.
Now, put your steak knives and rib eyes aside and grab a piece of tin foil. You should fold the tin foil, doubling it, and make sure that the piece is about ten by ten inches. Take a garlic clove and remove the paper outer protection from the bulb. Do not break the bulb up. Just set that in the middle of your foil. Arrange the foil around the bulb in the form of a cup. Sprinkle basil and rosemary over the garlic and then add some oil; I prefer olive oil.
You may want to use your steak knife to spread the garlic clove open a little bit, but do not break it apart. Just allow the oil to get inside of it. Once this is completed, wrap the clove up completely and set it on the grill. You will need to cook this clove for about thirty minutes. You can cook it while you cook your steaks.
Now, prepare your rib eye steaks. You will not need to cut your steak or trim any fat with your steak knife. I leave my steaks the way they come before grilling due to the fact that the grill will melt down some of the fat.
I season my steaks with salt and pepper for this recipe as the garlic will provide a lot of the seasoning flavor. You have two choices when it comes to cooking your steaks and I do both not preferring one to the other. You can sear you rib eyes by pan searing them in hot oil on each side four about forty five seconds, or you can throw them straight onto the grill without searing.
May I suggest a couple of corn on the cobs to go with your meal? I love grilled corn on the cob. There are a dozen ways to make it, but I like to keep it simple. I wash of the corn leaving the husk on it and throw it on the grill just like that. I leave the husk on to protect the kernels from burning or drying out while cooking.
You may want to take your steak knife and cut the end of the corn off where it was attached to the plant. That is up to you but if you have a small grill and need the room, it may be a good idea.
Throw the corn on the grill with your garlic in foil. Now the corn will need to cook for only about fifteen to twenty minutes. Ensure that you have a pair of thick glow to pick the corn up and remove the husk when it is done. You can check the corn every now and then by pulling back the husk near the top and penetrating one of the kernels with your steak knife. If it is full of fluid, then it is ready.
Put you steak knife aside and throw your steaks on the grill. They will need to cook for about ten to fifteen minutes for medium rare; which has the most flavor in my humble opinion. Or you can cook them an additional five minutes or so for medium and well done.
It is fine if the flames grow and lick your steaks a bit. This will not hurt them and in fact will add a bit more flavor to the meat. It will also give your steaks those nifty looking grill marks. If things get out of control and your grill starts to look like a blazing inferno, squirt the flames lightly with a water filled squirt bottle. Once everything is done, remove it all from the grill.
Take your steak knife and cut into one of the rib eyes and check to ensure that it is cooked to your liking by observation. Then, open the foil up and remove the garlic. You will want to use a fork to mash the garlic cloves into the steak. Remove any of the papery coverings that come off on your steaks. Then, pour the oil and spices over your steaks that remain in the foil.
Wear your thick gloves to remove the husk from the corn. Butter them up real good and slap them on your plate next to your steaks and pick your favorite side item to add to the plate. Sit down with your significant other, your favorite steak knife and dig in.

Grinding at Home Using a Burr Coffee Grinder
In addition, when brewing espresso, the burr coffee grinder supplies uniformly ground coffee that allows for an easier wetting and packing of coffee grounds in the espresso machine. What can a burr coffee grinder do for you? Well, conical burr grinders can grind quite finely at a consistent pace while keeping aroma intact the most.
The sophisticated design of its steel burrs permits a high gear reduction to reduce grinding speed. Aroma is preserved at an optimum level since less speed means less heat filters to the ground coffee. Burrs are the main feature of a high-quality grinder with the conical burr type being the best. Burr coffee grinders are ideal for any kind of coffee machine (such as French Press, Percolators, Drip and Espresso) due to the variety of grind settings.
You may opt to buy higher-end conical burr grinders to create Turkish coffee since these grinders have an extra fine grind to them, with grinding speed usually below 500 rpm. Those burr grinders featuring disk type burrs have a faster grinding speed compared to conical burr grinders. Though they do produce more warmth in the coffee by using speeds of 10,000 to 20,000 rpm, these grinders are deemed the most economical at producing consistently ground beans via a comprehensive range of applications.
They are perfect for the majority of home pump espresso makers. Still, their grind is not as fine as those produced by conical burr grinders. You should also consider ease of cleaning, safety, noise and static when shopping for a burr coffee grinder. For ease of cleaning, some models feature removable upper burrs and a cleaning brush so the grinding chamber can be reached.
For safety reasons, certain burr grinders will not start grinding until beans have been placed in the grinding chamber, whether or not the grinder is open or closed. Others will not grind until the bean container has been set properly in place. You may want to select grinders which are not so loud since the noise can be quite annoying.
As far as the static cling of the ground coffee is concerned, there are 2 steps to follow: when removing the grounds container for any type of burr grinder, tap it gently and take it out slowly; then when removing the blade grinding lid, again tap the top of the grinder and take away the lid slowly.
By analyzing these details and following them, you may be able to find the burr coffee grinder that is just right for you.

Coffee Beans Greatly Impact Coffee Flavor
All of the things mentioned above really are moot points unless you are using good quality beans for your coffee drinking delight. Not only do the beans need to be good quality to ensure the best possible cup of coffee, they also need to be of adequate freshness. Coffee beans are rather delicate creatures. The beans once opened are only at their best possible freshness for at most a week. Once those beans have been ground the maximum freshness only lasts for a matter of two or three days.
Freshness is monumentally important when it comes to the flavor of your coffee. It is better to use an inferior quality of coffee in its prime than it is to use a superior coffee that has outlived its freshness. The truth about supermarket coffee is that you have no idea how fresh your coffee really is by the time it makes it to the shelves in the stores, much less to your pantry at home. This coffee is by far the most questionable as far as quality goes.
Your average supermarket can of coffee will by no means match the quality, freshness, or flavor as beans that you purchase from your local gourmet coffee shop. Not only do you have no idea of how long it's been since they've been ground, you are also left to wonder about the actual quality as many of these brands are made with robusta beans rather than prime quality Arabica coffee beans or a blend of the two.
This doesn't mean that all coffee house coffees are going to provide the maximum freshness either. For better odds, it is wise to choose varieties and blends that are popular and sell rather quickly. There never is an honest guarantee for freshness unless you're getting your beans from the field, but for the most part the odds are better in a place that deals in quality rather than quantity (unlike mass merchandise supermarkets) and that really educates themselves in the finer points of coffee. This is something a small shop that specializes in coffee is far more likely to do than some minimum wage supermarket clerk.
Another way to increase your chances of getting a fresh and tasty cup of coffee is to buy whole beans rather than pre ground coffee. There are no guarantees when shopping, however the steps mentioned above will drastically increase your chances of getting your best possible cup of coffee each and every morning whether you have gone through specialized study about coffee beans or not. You really shouldn't have to have a degree in this in order to get a great cup of coffee in the morning.

Coffee Urns Have Many Uses
The workplace is the most ideal location to have ready made coffee to help employees get there morning off to a great start. Typically, coffee urns are capable of making from 30 to 100 cups of coffee, depending on the size of the urn. Coffee urns are most commonly made of stainless steel for the durability that is requires holding large amounts of hot beverages.
Governmental Uses For Urns
For many years the white house has used coffee urns to serve the president and other dignitaries. The Red Cross has also put many coffee urns to use to serve coffee to workers who have worked long hours helping others. Homes in England have made the use of coffee urns to continue there long lived tradition of serving up tea as well as coffee an example set by the beloved royal family who has acted as ambassadors to the world community for many centuries.
During the hurricane Katrina disaster over 6000 coffee urns were put to use at the Superdome stadium to accommodate those affected by the storm as well as relief workers who were there to provide support and services. Many college campuses come equipped with urns to serve students and faculty and to assure everyone is pleased most campuses provide both decaffeinated coffee choices as well as regular coffee in which contains caffeine.
Law enforcement organizations utilize urns to keep there work forces alert while hospitals provide them to refresh the family of patients as well as patients themselves. Probably one of the most notable users of coffee urns is the United States military. Since 1937 the United States military has put coffee urns in there vital supplies list.
It is estimated that over 1 million urns are ordered every year to assist the food service branch of the military in serving servicemen across the United States as well as in other countries in which they are serving. The many uses of coffee urns are countless but to sum it all up no matter whom you are or what line of work you are in they can provide you a valuable service regardless.

Why Everyone Should Consider Eating Raw Foods For Better Health
I found out that it's dangerous to use plastic to cover the food while you heat it up in the microwave because it's been shown to cause cancer. I also found out that I shouldn't be freezing bottles of water before I drink them. I should have known, since one of my favorite things is icy cold water and I like to freeze the bottles and drink them as the water melts.
I'm beginning to believe that scientists have found my list of favorite foods and are hard at work to ruin it for me. If it were not for trying to make sure my kids are fed in a healthy way, I'd stop my research and just eat what I wanted to. Unfortunately I have a duty to them, so I read on.
Another thing I read about is the benefits of raw foods. I guess you're wondering why that should upset me. It upsets me because I always thought that if there was one thing I was doing right, it was the way I handled fresh fruits and vegetables. We've all heard the warnings of making sure that before consuming them, they were thoroughly washed since harmful toxins and pesticides could be clinging to them. I had already been doing this, since I had no confidence that the stores were washing all the dirt off of them.
Let's not even talk about how many other people might have handled them before they came home with me. The mistake I've been making is by cooking them so thoroughly. Research has found that heat hurts the molecular structure of the vegetables, making them less healthy for you.
I won't pretend not to know that cooking vegetables reduces the vitamins and minerals in them. What I didn't know and was horrified to learn was that it actually changes the molecular structure into a toxin that actually attacks our systems. Go figure. Here I am, thinking I'm feeding my family a healthy diet and instead I find out that I'm feeding them food that is not only not contributing to their health, but harming it as well.
Who would have thought that? Well, at least now that I'm informed I can be more careful about how I prepare foods. Maybe I should just serve salads and ice cream. Salads have raw, healthy vegetables and ice cream is a dairy product and dairy contains nice, healthy calcium, right? Works for me.

Health Dangers of Modern Food Production
Depending on the soils they are grown on, there can be a significant difference between commercially grown and organically grown vegetables. One study concluded that organically grown foods were richer in minerals than commercially grown products. By comparison, there was 87% less content of magnesium, potassium, manganese, iron, and copper in conventionally grown foods.
It is now a proven fact that when soil is made healthy with organic humus and natural minerals, plants become healthier and more pest-resistant.They do not contain "weakness attractors" for pests.Even though we may be eating adequate quantities of fruits and vegetables, if they are not grown organically, or if they have been irradiated, our bodies are not receiving the nutrition required to build and maintain health.
We are consuming incomplete nutrition because the food lacks the natural vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and enzymes necessary to maintain life and build vitality.
Food Processing
The following food preparation processes are listed in order of nutritive
value, from best to worst:
* Raw
* Juiced, and consumed immediately after preparation
* Dehydrated, or dried, without chemicals or additives (2-5% loss of nutritive value)
* Frozen (5-15% loss)
* Lightly steamed, so that the vegetable is still a little crunchy (15-40% loss)
* Cooked (40-100% loss, depending of length of time cooked)
* Leftovers
* Microwaved (90-99% loss)
* Commercially canned
* Fried, and deep fried
* Processed foods with additives (contain toxins and have zero nutrient value)
Food industries process food so that it can be sold to consumers. In our fast-paced world, we have been conditioned to expect food that is conveniently packaged, easy and quick to prepare, has a long shelf life, and tastes good. Tantalizing taste is now the main criterion for choosing food.
Food loses its nutrient value when it is processed. For example, refined white flour contains only two or three nutrients, compared to more than fifty in whole-wheat flour. Whenever food is heated to temperatures in excess of 112 degrees fahrenheit (44 degrees celsius), most of the natural enzymes in it are destroyed.
Original, living, natural food becomes more or less unnatural dead food, lacking life force energy. Enzymes contained in raw food function as catalysts to assist with the digestive process and with other functions in our bodies.
Without live enzymes in food, our bodies must manufacture them from vitamins and minerals in our own tissues to be able to digest the nutrient-deficient processed foods we eat.Whenever we prepare foods by canning or overcooking, we are killing the live enzymes. When we consume these foods, we are depleting our body's nutrient reserves.

Gourmet Barbeque, My Personal Favorite!
Barbeque however, is one of the great delicacies of the south, no matter whether its chicken, pork ribs, beef brisket or pork chops. My personal favorite, barbequed pork ribs are rarely, if ever, found on the menu of fine dining restaurants. That omission is an indication of how this great food item is discriminated against by gourmet restaurants.
Maybe the barbequed rib has just not climbed its way to the top of modern culinary society yet. My thoughts are that it is just too good to be placed on the same menu as a "Pan Seared French Cut Pork Loin Chop served with baby new potatoes and a cheery medley of spring greens."
Imagine opening the menu at any stuffed shirt restaurant where the dinner meals start at $50.00 per person and reading down:
"Tonight's house specialty is Honey and Soy Glazed Sea Bass, garnished with tiny sprigs of rosemary. Sides are delightful broccoli crowns steamed with basil and tarragon. A creamy garlic mashed potato with fresh clipped chives round out the meal. Our wine cellar is excellent"
Just below this you might find other offerings to temp your pallet such as:
Macadamia Nut-Crusted Mahi Mahi with Tropical Fruit.
Rack of Ellensburg Lamb with Pinot Noir-Thyme Sauce.
Somewhere near the bottom of the menu you should see in proud bold, block lettering: "Hickory Smoked Rack of Ribs! Slow cooked in a hickory smoker for 3 -4 hours, these pork ribs will fall off the bone as you lick the barbeque sauce from your fingers. Hand rubbed into the meat we feature an assortment of spices: garlic salt, salt, pepper, oregano, chili pepper, cayenne pepper, and onion pepper. While the meat is cooking in the smoking chamber it is kissed with our own secret red sauce."
This sounds a little uppity for the good old barbequed rib doesn't it? Ribs, chicken and the like have been relegated to the kitchens of Ma and Pa diners and rib houses that specialize in barbeque. Most of these restaurants are packed with faithful customers most of the time; especially on the weekends. Barbeque aficionados are a loyal crowd. When they find a place they like, they keep coming back for more!
Why then is barbeque not highlighted on the menus of the finest gourmet restaurants in America? Portions! That's the key. In most places of fine dining, the portions of any one thing are ridiculously small. On the other hand when you leave a barbeque joint you're holding your belly because you're stuffed. No small amounts of food here!
Why then do they have portion control at fine dining joints? I think the gourmet food people stumbled onto something a long time ago that the barbeque business has yet to realize. The entrees and appetizers at most of these places are quite expensive. Add that fact that most of the meals featured are weird! They're not usually something that we would prepare at home, so frankly, no one knows how each item is really supposed to taste.
Then, because gourmet restaurants blatantly keep their prices at extortion levels, we feel that whatever they feed us is wonderful because it costs so much! It simply has to be good! Most of us would have to carry our lunch to work for a month in order to pay for one night out with Chef Pierre. That being the case the meals must be wonderful regardless of what our tummies are telling us.
That's it in a nutshell. Serve very small portions, make it so that no one knows if it's good or bad, make it expensive and put the knives and forks in the correct positions. It can then be called gourmet.
Even though in the south every red blooded American male thinks he can cook the best barbeque in the world, we still enjoy going out to eat someone else's cooking and enjoy the ambience of knotty pine paneling and vinyl table cloths that would enhance any dining experience. Maybe it would make a difference if there was a maitre d' to seat us as we entered the establishment.

The Best Way To Cook Chicken
Two Ways To Cook Chicken
First of all, there are two basic methods for cooking: dry heat and moist heat. Dry heat methods include baking, roasting, grilling, sauteing, and deep frying. Moist heat methods include microwaving, poaching, baking in parchment, steaming, and slow cooking.
How Long To Cook Chicken
Here are some general rules to help you. When cooking chicken breasts with dry heat, use high heat and cook for a short period of time. When using moist heat, use low heat and cook for a longer period of time. Now longer does not mean hours. Grilled chicken breasts cook in 8-10 minutes, while poached breasts cook in about 15 minutes. Here is another tip: when cooking with dry heat, pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness so they will cook evenly.
Chicken breasts have little connective tissue; that means they can be cooked quickly because the long cooking time needed to soften connective tissue is not necessary. They also have little fat, which means they can become dry if cooked too long.
Brining A Chicken
One way to ensure juicy, moist chicken is to brine it before cooking. To brine chicken, place thawed chicken breasts in a solution of salt and water for about 1 hour in the refrigerator. The cells will absorb water through osmosis. If your chicken has been pre-brined, I do not recommend brining again.
Cooking Chicken Breast
Many experts recommend that chicken breast meat must be cooked to an internal temperature of 170 degrees F, but others say 160 degrees F is fine. You will have a juicier chicken if you cook to 160 degrees F. Chicken must reach a temperature of 160 degrees F for 5.2 seconds to kill pathogens.
Recommended Temperature When Cooking Chicken
Currently, the USDA is recommending that, because of bird flu fears, chicken should be cooked to a temperature of 165 degrees F. Remember that the meat will continue to cook after it's removed from the heat; the internal temperature will rise about 5-10 degrees in the first few minutes it's off the heat.
The final temperature you choose should be based on the health and risk factors of those who will be eating the meat. If you have young children, elderly persons, or those with a compromised immune system in your household, choose the higher temperature. Healthy people above the age of 5 have built up a tolerance to low levels of bacteria and would not get sick when served chicken cooked to the lower temperatures.
Here is another tip for you. When cooling the meat, be sure to do it very quickly, preferably in a container placed in an ice water bath. Also do keep the cooked chicken in the refrigerator no longer than 3-4 days to ensure the quality of your food.
Conclusion
With these tips of cooking chicken, you should be able to dish out delicious chicken dishes from now on.

I Have A Love Affair With Tomatoes - Ten Reasons Why I Love Tomatoes
With a fascinating history, you'd never figure that the tomato is actually part of the nightshade family, where a few poisonous cousins exist. Interestingly, the lineage of the tomato is also connected to that of tobacco, eggplants, chili peppers, and the potato. A lot of our favorite ethnic recipes would not exist if there were no tomatoes. Overall, I find tomatoes a versatile vegetable, which shapes the many reasons why I celebrate their existence.
1) A Happy-Looking Vegetable
Tomatoes are colorful and not only come in the bright red variety, but also decorate dishes with orange, green, pink, purple, yellow, and even white selections. Some are multi-colored, while others display funky stripes. Tomatoes when added to a dish cause flavors to burst forth as well as helping change a sad countenance.
2) Important Salad Ingredient
A salad isn't complete without tomatoes, as there are many different selections to consider. A big plate piled high with sliced tomatoes is a welcome addition to any meal. It's also a snap to get ready. Add cubed cheese to this side dish and you have a filling, speedy lunch for on the go.
3) Hamburger Helper
Sprinkle a little salt on sliced tomatoes and you have a refreshing treat. A juicy hamburger with all the fixings isn't the same without a couple of slices, adding zip and matching perfectly with lettuce.
4) Please Pass the Ketchup!
Grilling on a hot summer Sunday afternoon just would not be the same if the tomato wasn't there to spice things up. Pass the ketchup and watch it be slathered on the burgers, hot dogs, french fries and other fun foods?
5) Good Stuff for the Body
Red foods are known to supply the body with lycopene

Black Tea Wheels your Whole Day Cheerfully
Black tea contains a compound called theaflavin-3-monogallate (TF-2). It is one of anti-cancer compounds family called polyphonols. TF-2 fights against colon cancer cells. It leads cancer cells to "commit suicide" in droves. Read more in Black Tea Benefit - Prevent Cancer. Black tea also contains antioxidants to neutralize harmful effects of natural chemical processes. A research result published in Journal of American Heart Association in 2001 found effect of black tea. It found black tea might strength ability of endothelial cells lining blood vessels. It helps regulate flow of blood. Read more in Black Tea Benefit - Protect Against Heart Disease. Black tea contains fluorin element. Fluoride Ion combines with calcium in the tooth and become Ne apatite. It adheres to the teeth to defend acid. Read more in Black Tea Benefit - Fights Cavities.
Black tea wheels your whole day cheerfully it will wheel your mind and body too towards more and more good health. Black tea has also been shown to be an effective preventer of lung cancer. Black tea appears to cause apoptosis of abnormal lung cells. Apoptosis is the orderly process of cell death. Cell death due to apoptosis is good, because it is a process of killing off damaged or unneeded cells. Black tea seems to help the body rid itself of potentially harmful lung cells by inducing the process of apoptosis. Black tea also seems to help prevent lung cancer by inhibiting the growth of the abnormal lung cells. So, black tea keeps the cells from growing and spreading until the apoptosis can kills the cells off. These two powers help to rid the body of abnormal cells before they can replicate and cause a problem.

Sweet Music to Our Ears - When PEZ Went Hi-Tech
Once upon a time, the makers of Altoids candies held a contest. They asked people to come up with original ideas to recycle their candy tins after the candy was gone. The winner was the individual who stuffed the iPod speaker inside the empty Altoid tin. Great, you say, but this is supposed to be about PEZ going hi-tech. What does Altoids and Ipods got to do with anything? Everything, as you'll see in a moment.
In Missouri, a stay-at-home dad and gadget designer Patrick Misterovich followed that contest and saw that iPod Altoid tin. As a clever and creative guy, he became inspired to see what else could be done with empty candy containers. He had a vision, a creative bent and a little bit of luck, as all good inventors are want to possess. "I saw that (Altoid iPod speaker) and I thought, that's pretty neat, taking something that you wouldn't think of as electronics and turning it into a device," Misterovich said. "When I started thinking about how I could do that, the Pez idea came to me, and I figured it was something that was pretty cool that could appeal to a lot of people."
Patrick didn't start with the idea of a PEZ mp3 player right out of the gate, though. He made a list of possible candy-tach combinations. How about a LifeSaver laser pointer? Or a USB drive in a gum pack? And then, he saw it - PEZ on the candy side of the list and mp3 player on the gadget side. Like two lost soul mates on opposite sides of the stream, they simply needed Patrick to bridge the gap between them. Patrick didn't just sit there staring at the two of them. He took action. In less than 5 minutes, He had emailed the PEZ company. He was going to need permission to license his product using their product. He got the number of the PEZ candy company and called. Now, I don't know who you call at a candy company when you want to do something completely un-candy-like with their product, or how you go about presenting the idea, but somehow Patrick either knew or figured it out along the way. He's a clever guy, you know? After about two hours, he had licensing permission from the PEZ people to run with his "crazy" idea, and that's exactly what he did.
That weekend, he spent a few bucks on a Google ad and ran a test market to see if anyone would want to even buy the thing. The response was a bit overwhelming. Everyone from teens to toy collectors were apparent PEZ fanatics who would, indeed, buy a PEZ mp3 player if he would make and sell one.
Patrick's PEZ mp3 player had the capacity to hold 512 MB of music and the ability to switch out its rather generic looking head with any other PEZ dispenser head. Yay! Yoda could hold my tunes! It seems the only complaint critics had when the device hit the market was that it DIDN'T have the capability to hold actual PEZ candies. Oh well, not every invention is perfect, I suppose.
Patrick made some press announcements to introduce his PEZ mp3 player to a hi-tech hungry world. He started a website and was soon the topic of every candy, gadget, business and music blog in cyberspace. In the Spring of 2005, Patrick was king of the cool kids' table!
His company, Lincoln West Studio, sold the PEZ mp3 players for $99. His first production of 1500 units sold out rather quickly. PEZ granted permission for a second production run. That's when the trouble started, apparently. Because his device was electronic, it had to pass certification by the Underwriters' Laboratories to ensure compliance with safety standards. Once again, Patrick contacted the right folks and in no time, had the UL certification and the symbol to match. He once again issued statements to the press and the blogosphere that everything was a go on the PEZ pop tune provider. The next run of PEZ mp3 players would be due out in the Spring of 2007. And that's the last anyone has heard of him.
There's been no word from Patrick since. His website is defunct, his domain up for sale. Did big business put the little guy out of business? Did the dad working form his basement give up on his dream? Or did he just move on to something else? The world may never know. The few PEZ mp3 players available online are for the serious collector with serious money.
Once upon a time, a man had a dream and a PEZ dispenser was, for a short time, more than a candy dispenser. Gives a new meaning to the phrase `"sweet music`" doesn't it?

Breast Augmentation Complications
Breast enhancement surgery can lead to a whole host of complications, two of which are mentioned below:
Necrosis:
This is where injury and/ or disease kills off groups of cells around the implant in the weeks after surgery. Such an occurrence makes the healing of the wound surrounding the implant difficult. In the worst cases the implant may have to be removed to enable the affected area to be effectively cleaned and then healed.
Necrosis of breast tissue can be more likely if the patient:
smokes
already has an infection
uses steroids
undergoes heat or cold therapy
undergoes radiation/ chemotherapy
What can be left from a case of necrosis is large permanent scarring. Surgeons can apply silver nitrate (or other similar anti-infection chemical) to a recent scar that appears to be re-opening soon after implants surgery. The cessation of smoking is highly recommended prior to breast surgery, in particular when having a breast lift. Breast lifts need a larger quantity of incisions which can increase the chances of less than adequate oxygen supply to regions of the breast, further promoting the chance of necrosis.
Capsular contracture:
Any object inserted in a living human will be surrounded by a protective tissue lining frequently termed a 'tissue capsule', 'scar capsule', or simply a 'capsule'. This lining is not identical to the regular scar tissue.
Capsular contracture is the most widely seen of the breast enhancement complications, although possible at any time it is most frequent in the first few months after surgery.
Breast enhancement surgery involves the cutting of tissue to create the hole for the implant to fit into. Once the implants are in this so called 'pocket' a very fibrous tissue develops, i.e. the capsule. Scar tissue is genetically programmed to shrink to a certain degree. In some people the scar tissue will not shrink noticeably, in others shrinking places pressure on the implants making them seem quite tough and rigid.
Under pressure the breasts can become physically distorted, later becoming firm and ball-like. What can increase the risk of capsular contracture are:
Patients that smoke
Past cases of seroma
Past incidences of haematomas can aggravate the capsule, i.e. inflammation, leading to the capsule contracting
Implants placed on top of the musculature generally have more of a chance than implants inserted below the muscles of capsular contracture
Pathogens present on unclean implants can lead to rapid contracture
A grading system is used to mark the degree of capsular contraction:
Baker Grade 1: The breast looks natural and feels soft
Baker Grade 2: The breast looks natural but is a little bit firm
Baker Grade 3: The breast looks slightly distorted and is firm
Baker Grade 4: The breast looks distorted and feels hard. A certain level of pain may be present.
When thinking about having surgical breast enhancement do really think about whether you need the operation. Consult your local qualified surgery and know the potential risks!

The Truth About Plastic Surgery And Anti-Aging
Of course, the best medicine is preventative medicine, which recommends that a healthy diet, lots of water, moderate exercise, and a good organic skin care regimen all started at a young age.
However, not everybody was able, or knew to, do this when they were younger. Of these people, many turn to plastic surgery to correct their mistakes and anti age their faces.
In years gone by, plastic surgery consisted of one treatment or surgery at a time, meaning that women (and men) who needed to have several different things done to their face in order to achieve the look of youth that was desired had to undergo a number of surgeries and recuperation periods. This meant time off from work for many, making it take a long time to get to where they wanted to be where their looks were concerned.
Today, anti aging through plastic surgery does not necessarily mean multiple times under the blade. There are many surgeries that can be combined, so that one time of operation can result in many things being achieved at once. This is a great help to those who want several things done. Not only does it mean much less time off from work and less total recuperation time, but it means less expense because you only have to pay for anesthesia and other necessities one time, rather than once for each different procedure to be done.
One such combination is a combination laser resurfacing and face lift. Side effects are minimal when these two treatments are done in the same treatment and the procedures are well known for combating the effects of sun damage combined with the natural aging process. Both sun damage (also called photo aging) and the natural aging process often result in excessive skin and loose jowls, giving the appearance of a sagging face. The process which counters these effects in one treatment is actually the non invasive treatment, ablative laser surgery. Side effects of this treatment are very similar to the side effects of treatment by laser, which are minimal when compared to side effects from invasive surgery. The one side effect that may bother people and happens in about one in five cases is a discoloration that lasts for as long as four months.
Another plus for the combination is that heavy anesthesia is not required; a twilight anesthesia can be used through intravenous means. Again, this reduces the risk to patients. The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery has long recommended that patients not have multiple surgeries while under any anesthesia because of the health risk it poses so this treatment is getting rave reviews from the association because of its light anesthesia and short amount of time that patients need to be under the anesthesia.
The CO2 laser which is used for this procedure can be used in other ways, too. By utilizing this form of anti aging treatment, skin looks toned and smooth, creating a younger looking face. It is entirely possible for wrinkles and discoloration due to sun exposure to be removed without using this laser. Many people who have face lifts prefer to have the laser used on them intermittently to counteract aging processes between face lifts. This form of anti-aging seems to be getting a foothold throughout the world of plastic surgery.
If you are seriously considering any form of plastic surgery, you should always research the surgery you are interested in and find a derma logical surgeon (plastic surgeon) with considerable experience in the field. Keep in mind that not all of these surgeons are knowledgeable and experienced with CO2 lasers and careful consideration should be taken when deciding on the surgeon you choose.
One of the best ways to find a good surgeon is to talk to people who have had the procedure done. Find out how they liked the results, if there were any problems that required additional treatments and how comfortable they were with the surgeon. Also, ask if they will go back to that surgeon if they decide to have further treatments. You will find that some people prefer not to discuss it while others are more than willing to talk about it with you. Plastic surgery is so common today that most people don't mind answering your questions.

How To Disguise The Signs of Aging
One way to combat the appearance of wrinkles is to use specialized beauty treatments. These lotions generally have collagen mixed in. The collagen is then absorbed into the skin over a period of time. Collagen is a naturally occurring substance in the skin that functions as a 'skin plumper'. Collagen production is reduced as we grow older, which results in wrinkles because of the loss of elasticity in the skin. These treatments can be done at home on a daily basis, but can also be done in spas. An afternoon in a day spa can help you feel pampered and relaxed, which definitely helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
Plastic surgery is often used as a way to combat the arrival of wrinkles. While this is a very invasive way to accomplish the goal, it is often successful. With plastic surgery, it is so important to research the procedure and the surgeon very carefully. This is a major surgery and should not be taken lightly. While there have been many wonderful results, there has also been some disasters with plastic surgery.
Basically, when a face-lift is performed, the skin of the face is literally lifted off, pulled up and stitched back into place. The end result is tighter skin with no wrinkles. This procedure is not permanent and signs of aging can and probably will occur again in the future. Since there has been so much in the media regarding doctors who are performing this surgery without being properly licensed and the number of people who complain of botched face-lifts, please do extensive background research before letting them perform it on you. Double check the credentials of the surgeon.
Botox and restylane injections are two other popular ways to rebel against the aging process. These types of procedures have gained in popularity, mostly because they are quick and if done by a licensed professional, are safe. You do want to be sure you carefully check to make sure that the practitioner is, in fact, properly licensed and experienced.
Botox is a protein that has been purified from Clostridium botulinum. The fact that Botox is a form of Botulinum is the reason that it is so important for this procedure to be done by an experienced practitioner. Do not be pulled in by someone who says that they can give you Botox or collagen injections for a fraction of the cost of a doctor. These are scams and all too often use either substandard or completely fake injection materials. It is best to be safe and use a doctor with a good history using these methods. It will be worth the extra cost.
The best way to prevent wrinkles and, therefore, the need to fill them in, is with proper diet and exercise. Keeping in shape and eating a healthy diet that includes the proper vitamins and water intake is the best way to keep your skin healthy for years to come. If you find that you are not getting the proper vitamins and nutrients, ask your health care provider about supplements.
Starting with a healthy diet that includes plenty of fresh fruit, vegetables and lean meats, you will have a good head start on keeping hour the elasticity of your skin last longer. It will also benefit your general health, so it is very much worth the time and effort to follow a well-balanced diet.
While vitamin supplements are widely available over the counter, the decision as to which is best for you can be a bit overwhelming. Your doctor will be able to ask you questions about your diet and exercise regimen and recommend the right supplements for you.
There are other changes that you can make to your daily schedule, right now, that will have an effect on the appearance of wrinkles. For example, if you smoke, you will notice the appearance of wrinkles around your mouth. While quitting smoking may not be easy, it is a step that will not only make your face look younger, but your whole body as well.
Sunscreen is another thing that will help keep your face wrinkle free for longer. The use of a sunscreen that is at least a 15 SPF will prevent sun damage, cancer and wrinkles. If this habit is formed when a person is young, the sunscreen will help to greatly reduce the early onset of aging signs. This doesn't mean, however, that starting later in life will have no impact, the opposite is actually true. Cosmetic manufacturers know this to be true, as well and many have included SPF 15 sunscreen in their make-up, from foundations to eye shadows.
Drinking at least 32 ounces of water daily will help your skin stay hydrated and supple. Hydrated skin does not wrinkle as quickly or as severely as skin that has not been taken care of. If you have trouble fitting the full 32 ounces of clear water into your daily routine or find that you simply don't like plain water, try mixing in some lemon or a low calorie flavored drink mix. Besides helping to keep your face free of wrinkles, water is essential to keep your body hydrated and healthy.
By combining healthy eating habits, water, sunscreen and the correct vitamin regimen, you can greatly reduce wrinkles and the procedures that are then needed to correct them. This will also benefit your general health. Please remember before starting any exercise or vitamin plan to speak with your doctor or health care provider.

How To Survive Facial Cosmetic Surgery - With Makeups
Today, there are numerous ways to deal with these minor setbacks that does not take time away from completing daily tasks and responsibilities. The market is filled with a wide range of cosmetic items and techniques that can camouflage the side effects associated with plastic surgery. Camouflage cosmetics are versatile, boosting the confidence levels in male and female patients of all ages.
Camouflage cosmetics not only bring out your recent enhancements, but also mask the healing process of a surgical procedure. While there are many different products to choose from, an array of application techniques are available to help you take advantage of these cosmetic items. It may take a bit of practice, but in no time, you will get the hang of concealing the unattractive side of recovery.
After-Surgery Safety
Before turning to camouflage cosmetics to hide bruising or reduce the appearance of swelling, you should consult your surgeon on when is the best time to start using these items. Often, it is common to begin applying camouflage cosmetics a couple of days after surgery. In the case of covering up incision lines, you will need to wait until all of the stitches have been taken out, which is usually two weeks after surgery. Complete closure of the incision is also a must before using camouflage cosmetics.
If you have undergone a procedure on the nose, camouflaging may begin right after cast removal. For chemical peel or dermabrasion patients, the skin must be free of blemishes or crust before using camouflage cosmetics.
Purchasing Camouflage Cosmetics
When shopping for camouflage cosmetics, you may find these special makeup products located in many large department stores. In certain cases, some of the usual cosmetics you use may help to cover up signs of surgery. To track down some of the best products, your plastic surgeon may suggest a few options beyond the commercial world of camouflage. If you decide against the suggestions of your doctor, it is important to purchase camouflage cosmetics that are hypoallergenic, as well as fragrance free. This will protect you against skin irritation.
Basic Types of Camouflage Cosmetics
There are three main ways patients approach the purchase of camouflage cosmetics: concealing, correcting and contouring. Below you will find brief details on each technique to better help you decide which approach is best for you:
Concealing: Concealers differ from typical foundation products because they are much thicker. Using concealing techniques usually works wonders in hiding incision lines and unattractive bruises. All over the body and face, visible scarring is also reduced. Various concealer colors are available on the market, offering a variety of skin matches to consider. When applying concealer, you should know that this type of product does not enhance the appearance of the thin, delicate skin located about the eyes.
Correcting: Color correcting is a great way to create a balance between skin that appears yellowish or reddened. The need for this sort of product comes when healing bruises bring about a yellow tint to the skin. The redness of a chemical peel and dermabrasion is also treated with a color corrector. Different tints of product are available. Yellow tones are neutralized with a lavender corrector. A green corrector affects redness.
Contouring: Contouring provides nice results for those who wish to reduce the appearance of swelling or bring about the imagery of highlights and shadows. Facial implant and nose surgery patients will benefit from contouring techniques. By manipulating light and shadows, you can make lighter areas come forward or darker areas fall into the background. This is accomplished through the combination of a highlighter and contour shadow.
As a rule of thumb, the highlighter should be close to two shades lighter than your usual foundation. The contour shadow should be around two shades darker than the foundation you are accustomed to. When looking for these products in a grocery store, be on the lookout for foundation makeup and pressed power.
Contouring involves a great deal of skill to appear authentic. Through practice, the creation of illusions that take advantage of light and dark shades of product can be accomplished. Patients can then use these techniques to make noses appear narrower, shrink the appearance of a swollen chin and bring height to cheekbones.
Cosmetics Removal
Camouflage cosmetics should not stay on the face when you go to bed. Removal of the product is very necessary to ensure healthy skin. Camouflage cosmetics are known for being thicker than usual makeup options. This means strong cleansing cream should be used for removal, followed by an alcohol-free toner that is gentle to the skin. Last, a skin-specific moisturizer should be applied for extra care.

How Often Should You Look After Your Nails and How to Prevent the Most Common Nail Problems
It can be hard knowing how often you should care for your nails and what you should do. However, with a little time and effort you will notice that looking after your nails really does not have to be overly hard.
How Often You Should Look After Your Nails:
As a general rule, your nails should be looked after every single day. Simple hygiene such as using a nail brush and mild soap and water daily is not really a chore and it only takes a few minutes of your time. On top of that there are also other things you can do weekly including:
Removing any old nail polish by moistening a cotton ball with nail polish remover. Press the cotton to the nail for just a few seconds to soften the polish and prevent any rubbing of the nail. In one firm movement move the cotton from the base of the nail, right up to the tip and then repeat until the polish has all come off.
Next shape the nail by using an emery board. It is better to file the nails from the corner to the centre, though you should not file the actual corner itself. It is important to not run the file up and down the nail as this can cause ridges and other potential problems with the nail.
The next step is to soak the hands in warm water for up to a few minutes, in order to remove any built up dirt and bits of nail from the filing that was just done. Use an orangewood stick to clean under the nail.
Many people like to push their cuticles back but generally it is better to leave the cuticle where it is. If you are unsure as to where the cuticle in the nail is, it is basically the skin which grows from the finger onto the base of the nail. Not pushing the cuticle back helps to prevent infections.
Although you can buy different top coats and basecoats, it is thought that a clear nail polish does exactly the same job and so it is cheaper to just apply clear nail polish first. Next choose whichever color you want for your nails and apply. Leave them to dry and then apply another layer of clear nail polish as a topcoat to seal the color in and to prevent chipping.
It is recommended that you visit a professional manicurist every six weeks in order to keep your nails extra healthy. Some good tips for caring for your nails include not using nail polish remover more than once a week. Nail polish remover can cause the nails to dry out and crack and split. Also, after washing your hands always apply lotion or moisturizer to the nails in order to keep them well lubricated and protected.
White spots often occur on the nails and they are generally nothing to worry about. Whilst they can indicate a problem with nutrition, most white spots are caused by rough manicures and too much force applied to the nail. In this case they should grow out on their own and you should make a note to yourself to be extra careful with your nails in future
Also ridges are another common problem which are usually caused by too much pressure on the nail. Some ridges are also down to hereditary factors and these can only be con trolled by smoothing them down using a buffer. If the ridges have only just occurred they can be a symptom of anemia and so it is always better to consult your doctor.
Overall, looking after your nails need not be a chore. It does not take long to scrub under the nails with soapy water using a nail brush, and having a manicure once every six weeks can actually be quite fun. So, look after your nails daily and you should not have many problems!

More Nail Tips
Polished nails and healthy cuticles aren't the only things that make your fingernails beautiful. Keeping your nails trimmed and shaped properly helps to create a glamorous look to your hands. Every hand is different, but there are few common shapes and sizes to hands that can help you to determine how you should shape your nails. The way your cuticle is shaped will also help
* For cuticles that are oval at the base, square shaped nails are appropriate
* For cuticles that are pointed, oval shaped nails might be better suited
* For small hands and fingers, try almond shaped nails
* Short and plump fingers look best with squared-off, oval nails
* Thicker hands or fingers with a wide nail bed should have squared off ends.
* Longer nail beds look best with rounded nails.
It is recommended by experts that the free edge of your nails should only extend a few millimeters beyond the tip of your finger. To begin shaping your nails, start by trimming them with a quality clipper. If you use a clipper that is too hard to squeeze, you'll end up breaking your nails or making inaccurate cuts. Once you have trimmed your nails into the desired shape for your hand type, you can begin to file your nails for smooth edges. Here are some filing tips to keep in mind:
* Don't file your nails from side to side, it can weaken the stress points of the nail's free edge
* Gently file from the corner of your nail to the center in one direction
* To make sure both hands are the same length or shape, hold the same finger from each hand up to one another
* Metal files can split your nails. Use a soft, flat emery board.
Tips for Beautifully Polished Fingernails
Beautifully polished nails aren't just for hand models. Besides your face, your hands are another area that people first notice about you. Nail polish can help your hands look younger, smoother and even thinner. Polishing your nails may seem like a no-brainer, but here are some helpful tips you may not have been aware of before:
* If you are already wearing a polish or not, before you apply nail polish, always remove the excess oils from your nails with nail polish remover
* To avoid cotton ball fuzzies stuck to your nails, use a makeup sponge with polish remover
* To avoid yellowing nails after your polish is removed, try buffing the tops of your nails. This will also smooth out the roughness of your nails
* Always, always, always use a base coat! This also will help eliminate the discolorization of your nails
* Water-based nail enamels, hypoallergenic and unscented nail products are available if you have sensitive skin
* Choose a shade that enhances your fingers and toes
* Instead of shaking your polish, roll the bottle in the palm of your hand, your nail polish will last longer
* Don't put too much polish on the brush
* When painting your nails, apply the polish to the tips of your nails and slightly underneath the tip of your nails
* Fast drying enamels are fabulous, but they also chip faster
* Nail polish takes a full hour to completely dry without smudging
* Once your nails have dried enough, usually 10 minutes, add a top coat
* To keep your nails looking glossy, apply a new coat every other day.

Top 5 quick tips for hair removal
Waxing
Waxing is a very widely used method of hair removal here in India. It is very convenient as one needs just do it once a month or so. In addition, there are a number of women who readily come to your home, charge very nominally, and wax your body quickly and efficiently. The advantages of waxing are that as opposed to shaving or using a cream, hair grows back much slower. This is because the hair is removed from the roots.
However, if your skin is sensitive you may not be able to wax, as you may develop boils on certain areas of your skin. You may also develop in-growths when the hair grows out, leading to rough skin. But not everyone has these issues. If waxing works for your skin, it is an efficient, hassle-free method of hair removal.
Threading
Threading is best when used on smaller areas, and is often used to remove hair on the upper lip. It is also used to remove excessive hair around eyebrows, and define them. You can thread your upper lip yourself, but don't try and thread around eyebrows, as you may ruin the shape, causing one eye to look bigger than the other! You can also remove excessive forehead hair by threading. But if this causes pimples, don't do it.
Bleaching
The face is very sensitive, and if you have a lot of hair on your face, it makes sense to wax sideburns, thread upperlip and eyebrows, and bleach the rest of your face. Don't pull out hair from all over your face as you may develop a rash. Bleach it if your skin is light. Remember that bleach does contain chemicals, and is not necessarily gentle on your skin. Make sure you moisturise your face regularly, especially if you bleach, and reapply bleach only after a minimum of fifteen days have passed since your last application.
Laser
Laser is a great permanent solution to get rid of body hair. It is especially suited for areas where it is not easy to use other methods of hair removal. If you have a lot of hair on your back, and are not able to wax it because you develop boils, a good option would be to try using laser. You could of course choose to remove hair from all over your body with the help of laser, but it is expensive. But before ruling out this method, speak to a clinic that offers this services and find out about any packages they may be offering. You can even try a single session to dramatically reduce the hair from a certain area - but this will not work if you want every single hair removed. Laser is great for a hairy back or shoulders, and just a single session may reduce the hair dramatically. Any re-growth may not be as noticeable.
Hair removal creams
Hair removal creams contain harsh chemicals, and are often believed to cause darkening of the skin when used over a prolonged period. But these make good options when you want to expose a certain body part and need to remove hair gently. For example if you need to wear a lehenga at a wedding and your belly will be exposed, you can use a hair-removal cream as a one-off solution.

Skin Facts and How to Improve Many Skin Conditions
The skin is made up of three layers, the epidermis, the dermis and the subcutaneous. The epidermis is on the bodys surface, where new cells form and dead ones fall off. The process of skin cell rejuvenation can take anywhere from two weeks to a month, and the entire layer of the epidermis is in a constant state of flux: newer cells move up through the layers and during that process, the older cells rise to the surface and die.
Old skin cells are strong, and they act by covering your body and protecting it. Every minute of the day we lose 30,000 to 40,000 dead skin cells off the surface of our skin. The process of shedding cells in the epidermis is ongoing, and 95 percent of the cells in that layer are always at work to make new skin cells. The other 5 percent contains a substance called melanin, which gives skin its color.
The darker your skin, the more melanin you have. The cells that contain melanin also provide extra coverage to prevent burning from ultraviolet rays emitted from the sun. Despite having melanin, we still need to be sure and cover up with a sunscreen to protect from skin cancer and sunburn.
The second layer, or dermis, contains nerve endings, blood vessels, oil and sweat glands. It is also where collagen is made, which is important for elasticity and skin durability. The nerve endings in the dermis are responsible for understanding how things feel. The nerve sensors send messages to the brain when things feel too hot or cold, and they transmit messages of pain. The dermis is also filled with blood vessels that keep the skin healthy by supplying it with oxygen and nutrients.
The third and final layer of the skin is called the subcutaneous layer. This layer is mostly fat, and works to provide the body warmth and protection. This is the same layer where our hair follicles originate. These follicles act as roots for each hair as it grows up through the dermis. Hair follicles tend to grow over the entire body, and more than 10,000 follicles are located on the head alone.
You skin also works to keep your internal temperature from getting too hot or cold. Blood vessels, hair and sweat glands work together to keep the body at an optimal temperature, and to reduce risk of overheating.
Keeping skin in good health is just as important as any other organ or body part. Make sure skin stays clean with water and gentle soap, and clean wounds to keep them from becoming infected. Since we only have one skin, we need to always make sure it is healthy and clean, and see a doctor when abnormal growths appear.

Befits of a Pedicure; it's not a luxury, it's a necessity
Well that kind of pressure is nothing compared to what your feet have to face on a daily basis. Your feet are confined to the walls of your uncomfortable shoes, they must carry the wait of your entire body, and have to walk like there is not tomorrow. So with the amount of pressure your feet face on a daily basis, it is natural that they need special care and attention. The cracks on the bottom of you heals, the dry scaly skin, and yellow nails are all signs of excess pressure and neglect of your feet. If your feet are in this condition, they are screaming at you to do something about it.
The best thing that you can do for them is to receive a pedicure. A spa pedicure consists of a full service rehabilitation of the health and beauty of your feet. The benefits of pedicures go far beyond just having great looking toes, but it also includes keeping fungus and foot diseases far. far away. Lower Back Tattoos Are Popular, But You Can Make Your Own Style
Most lower back tattoos are located in the middle of the lower back, but there are also tattoos out there that are located more to the right or the left of the spine. Having an off-center lower back tattoo tones down the signal that most people get from a lower back tattoo, but it is still nowhere near as popular as the more bold spine-placed lower back tattoo.
Getting a symmetrical pattern design for your lower back tattoo is both popular and attractive. There are several types of patterns to get tattooed to the lower back, and most of them are symmetrical. Flower, tribal, or Celtic symmetrical designs and patterns that spread out from the dead middle of the lower back are especially popular. A perfect vine of flowers flowing and blooming out from your lower back can be very sexy.
There are two downsides to the popularity of the lower back tattoo: The reputation and the popularity itself.
Since lower back tattoos are so popular it's difficult to really brand yourself as original or unique if you have one. One fifth of women have a lower back tattoo, and that is no amount to scoff at. If you're striving for being unique with your new tattoo, one of these is not for you. Consider a tattoo on your shoulder or on your hand.
Like anything that's popular, there's a certain kind of stigma that follows the tattoo residing on your lower back. Because of where it is, the lower back tattoo has been nicknamed "the tramp stamp". The name and what it implies is self-explanatory. When a girl bends over, the tattoo is usually visible unless her shirt is long enough to reach long past the lower back. When considering getting a lower back tattoo keep in mind its popularity and what comes with that popularity.
If the lower back tattoo seems like it's for you, despite what more negative people might think, then you're joining in a trend that is sure not to die out anytime soon. Lower back tattoos on women are on a roll and it doesn't look like there is going to be any stopping it. If you're worried about what people might say or don't want to conform to a normal tattoo, try an off-center lower back tattoo as your own variation. Lower back tattoos may be extremely popular, but there is no reason for you to avoid throwing your own style into the trend.

Why Women Are Wearing Stylish Socks In Every Color Of The Rainbow Now
Styling socks can be used for dresses and skirts as well as pants. They can even be used in place of pantyhose or stockings. Styling socks are one of the most versatile items which are in your wardrobe. You should consider buying some styling sucks just to spice up your ensemble any time you feel it is less than what you deserve to wear out on the town.
One of the best dress tips when talking about miniskirts is to think about styling socks. Look to see if you grab yourself a pair of knee-high styling socks. You can pick any type ranging from cotton to sheer to printed. One very important fact is that the socks must match what you're wearing. The colors should match or compliment other colors within your ensemble. If you have a shirt which is printed, a solid color which is printed would be the perfect choice to complement your outfit. With the miniskirt, you also want to make sure that you have the knee-high styling socks. Most times girls will look to wear knee high socks which resemble the type you would wear to school back when you're in elementary school. You want to make sure that these have an elastic band on these styling socks as well so that you can be casual or engage in activities like dancing at the same time without any adverse reactions.
When you think about the pants, you may not think about stylish socks but these can definitely go with whatever type of pants you want to wear. If you're looking for styling socks for your pants, look no further than the sheer look. The color of your shirt should determine the color of your styling socks when looking at what color to wear with your pants. This helps tie the entire outfit together and brings attention to the socks. If you're wearing jeans, stick with some the basic colors like red or black or white. If you wear jeans and decide to wear red stylish socks, you will stand out in a positive manner.
Styling socks are a great addition to any woman's wardrobe. They are an underappreciated fashion item which can make your outfit that much stronger and do a good job in setting off the colors of what you are wearing.

A Quick Guide To Laser Hair Removal
What Is A Laser?
A laser is nothing more than an intense beam of light energy. In laser hair removal, the laser beam is delivered to the skin via a handheld 'pen-like' device by your dermatologic surgeon. The method is quite ingenious as the laser is designed to focus on the dark pigment in the hair follicle and destroy it without damaging the surrounding (lighter) skin tissue.
Is Laser Hair Removal Permanent?
At the time of writing, 100% permanent hair removal remains an elusive goal. However, clinical results indicate you can expect the successful removal of unwanted hair for a period of up to ten years. Some individuals will see long term results while others may need some maintenance treatments over time.
How Much Does It Cost? The cost for laser hair removal treatments varies depending on the area to be treated. It is common to find 'per session' prices from around $150 for an upper lip treatment to around $650 for a full back treatment. Of course our individual needs differ and some folk will require shorter treatments while others may need additional sessions to achieve the desired result.
How Many Treatments Will I Need? Depending on the type of hair you have, it will take about 3-6 treatments to produce the desired results. This is because your hair grows in 3 phases (the growing phase, the dormant phase and the resting phase) and laser treatments can only target hair that is in the growing phase which is about 85% of all body hairs at any given time. You simply have to wait for the other 15% to enter the growing phase before they can be treated. The good news is each successive treatment should be faster and less expensive.
Is Laser Hair Removal Painful? The actual feeling is not unlike being snapped with a rubber band and most people would not classify it as pain.
What About Side Effects? For a few hours after the treatment there is usually a little redness and maybe some slight swelling; not unlike what you would experience after a waxing session. Within 24 hours, you are back to normal.
It is important to note that like any medical procedure, there is the potential for complications to arise which may include burning, changes in pigmentation, persistent redness and swelling and possible scarring. As always, it is best to consult your dermatologic surgeon concerning the risks involved in the procedure.
What Should I Do Before A Treatment? Your treatment clinic will have a list of do's and don'ts that you will need to be aware of prior to you appointment. However, as a general rule, the skin to be treated should be as natural as possible when you present for a laser hair removal treatment. That means no tans allowed! Not even fake tans.
Where Can I Find A Laser Hair Removal Clinic? It is wise to thoroughly check the credentials of the physician or technician performing the procedure prior to making an appointment. Most countries have a professional dermatology society with a directory of local accredited dermatologic surgeons that you are able to consult (in the US it is the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery).
Thanks to laser hair removal, it is at last possible to be problem hair free! Just make sure you do your research before taking the plunge and you will be well on the way to a bright and shiny you!
